Toronto police say they've found the vehicle they believe was involved in a hit and run that sent a grandmother, a mother and her toddler to hospital.
Now, they are searching for a fourth person.
It was Sunday morning near Ellesmere and Pharmacy, police say a Dodge Journey ran a red light, plowed through the intersection and onto the sidewalk.
It stopped. Two people got out, walked around and police say one of them hopped back in the SUV and drove away. The other person took off on foot.
Then, last night around dinner time, a business owner near St. Clair and O'Connor recognized the Dodge and called police.
The person who abondoned it was caught on security camera.
On Sunday, police identified two other "person's of interest": 49-year-old Cory Munroe and 30-year-old Amanda Rioux.
34-year-old Derek Desousa has been identified by police as the driver, and a warrant has now been issued for his arrest.
And officers have updated the condition of the victims. The 20-month-old boy is now expected to fully recover. The mother and grandmother of the boy are both recovering from serious injuries, but both are expected to live.
