At the peak, 65 hundred people were without power in an area of Richmond Hill and Vaughan.
Alectra Utilities, which was formerly PowerStream, says the problem was an issue with a pole that knocked out four feeder lines.
That happened just before three o'clock on Tuesday afternoon.
A spokesperson says they had all but about fifteen hundred people back on line, as of 5pm on Tuesday. By about 9:45 p.m., only 129 remained without power and the utility says all power was restored as of 10:33 p.m.
They aren't quite sure yet what caused the fault with the pole, but say that is under investigation.
