The intersection of Bloor Street and Ossington Avenue has reopened after a vehicle crashed into a hydro pole in the area early Sunday morning.
Police confirm a driver was travelling at a high rate of speed in the area around 2 a.m. and tried to negotiate a turn near the intersection, instead jumped the curb striking a pole and a mail box.
No serious injuries were reported. The male driver was initially charged and held on suspicion of impared driving, but police confirm the man passed a breathalyzer test and was given a 3 day warning.
