Police are appealing for witnesses in a serious crash on country roads, south of Barrie.
The crash happened around 10:30 on Wednesday morning, on the 9th Line between Yonge Street and 10 Sideroad. Police say one of the vehicles crossed the centre line and slammed head on into the other.
Two children in the Volkswagen Jetta, a 2-year-old girl and an 8-year-old girl were injured, with the older girl taken to Toronto hospital in serious, but stable condition. A man and a woman in the front seats are also in hospital in serious but stable condition.
Two people in the pickup triuck, a man and a boy, were both treated and released from hospital.
Police are still investigating and so far, no charges have been laid.
