There was, no doubt, a sigh of relief from some very worried dog owners in the city.
A van, stolen from the Fort York and Bathurst area this morning, with 16 dogs inside, has been found.
It was spotted by rail workers on Queens Quay East.
Police say all the dogs are accounted for and in good health. They were being reunited with their owners Friday night.
The white Ford Econoline panel van had been stolen late Friday morning.
Police say it was a dogwalker who was loading the van, when they turned away for a minute, only to have someone jump inside and take off.
At the time, officers had said they were looking for a white man, about 6 feet tall, with blonde hair and a medium build. He was last seen carrying a pink 'Ardene' shopping bag.
Anyone with information is asked to call Toronto Police.
