More rain is expected on Sunday as well as thunderstorms.
But the weather is not expected to be anything like the fast-moving storm that rolled across the GTA and other communities Saturday afternoon.
A tornado warning was issued for Toronto, most of York Region and parts of Durham Region.
The warning was issued Saturday around 3:15 p.m. and included the city of Toronto, communities in Vaughan, Richmond HIll, Markham, Newmarket and Georgina as well as Uxbridge and Beaverton in Durham.
Environment Canada said the storm is "capable of producing a tornado, damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall."
Tornado warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing tornadoes.
They were spotted in Orillia but there are no reports of damage.

The weather agency says "If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately. Go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet."
