NEWSTALK 1010 has learned the superintendent of a midtown building has been arrested in connection with an overnight fire.
The blaze started at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at a three-storey apartment building at Yonge St and Belsize Dr, north of Davisville Ave
One person suffered minor smoke inhalation and a cat was killed in the fire.
Police say that a man made threats about setting a fire and harming pets before barricading himself in one of the units.
34-year-old Bradley Oliver, the superintendent, is now facing seven charges including arson, making threats, mischief and assault.
