A suspicious death inside a North York apartment building Saturday night has now been ruled a homicide.
A news release issued Sunday said officers responded to an Unknown Trouble call in the Wakunda Place and O'Connor Drive area around 8:50 p.m. Saturday.
When they arrived they found a man in an apartment with "significant trauma." He was pronounced at the scene.
Police have identified the victim as 60-year-old Henryk Dabrowski. Earlier reports had said the victim was in his 50s.
A post mortem examination was conducted on Sunday.
Police say the cause of death was “stab wounds to torso."
