Police say a toddler is in critical condition after a crash on the 401 in Toronto.
Provincial police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says officers were called to the three-vehicle collision early Monday morning.
He says five people were in one of the cars involved in the crash, including three children.
He says a 17-month-old child was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Toronto paramedics say two other kids and two adults were also taken to hospital as a result of the crash, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
The Eastbound collector lanes were closed at Leslie for several hours for an investigation, but have since re-opened.
