Those who hold a membership at the Toronto Zoo, aren't being forgotten in the wake of a labour dispute.
While they did miss out on about a month worth of visits to the popular tourist attraction, the Zoo is stepping up to help.
"Their memberships will be extended for the entire length of the strike period, as well as an extra 25 days as a show of thanks and to thank them for their patience." says spokesperson Jennifer Tracey.
NEWSTALK 1010 told you this week, that the doors of the Zoo will open again on Thursday.
Tracey says they are going through the process of re-training some staff and making sure some of the attractions like Splash Island are up to speed before things open up again.
The strike had included zookeepers, concession workers, and maintenance and administration staff.
