York Regional Police tell Newstalk 1010 two men were killed, four others injured in a three-vehicle collision on Rutherford Road and Hwy. 50 in Vaughan Saturday evening.
Three vehicles, a Honda CRV, Audi and commercial truck collided shortly after 5 p.m.
A man in his 20s was a passenger in the audio and a man in his 60s driving the Honda CRV were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Audi and two passengers were taken to hospital. The driver of the commercial truck suffered minor injuries.
Police are asking anyone who was driving in the area and have dash cam video to contact them to help figure out how the collision happened.
York Regional Police’s Major Collision Bureau are investigating and were on scene on Saturday night collecting evidence.
