Two men were hit by a light standard while on stage at the Beaches Rib Fest Friday night, one suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police say it happened around 9 p.m. when the employees of the festival were on a stage on the grounds in Woodbine Park.
The light standard came crashing down onto them during heavy rain.
Both men were taken to hopsital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, however police now say one of the men is listed in life-threatening condition.
Police say both men, one in his 50s, the other in his 40s are in stable condition.
No word on what caused the light standard to fall.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
