Your Wednesday morning drive into work could be a messy one and there are school bus cancellations.
The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board has cancelled buses in Caledon and Dufferin County. Schools remain open.
The Peel District School Board has cancelled buses in Caledon except for James Grieve Public School, South Fields Village, Tony Pontes, and Esker Lake Public School.
All schools are open and all other buses are running.
The latest forecast from CTV weather specialist Michelle Jobin shows light snow changing to rain this afternoon, with a possibility of freezing rain between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The City of Toronto said Wednesday morning that salters had been out since 3 a.m. and would continue to work through the morning commute as needed.
Freezing rain warnings are in place for areas north and west of the GTA including Hamilton and Caledon.
It's all attached to a system that will lead to a one-day warm up, before we plunge back down to the freezing mark.
After that, it's back to winter, with highs around -10 for the weekend.
