The victim of an alleged abduction in Markham has been found.
According to the OPP, Wanzhen Lu was found outside of a residence near Gravenhurst asking for help Tuesday night.
He was taken to hospital to be assessed but his physical injuries appear to be minor.
Unverified audio, purportedly of the police dispatch call, suggests Lu may have been hooded and taped up. It also suggests he escaped. York Regional Police have not been able to verify the information in the call and the OPP couldn't say whether Lu escaped his captors or if he was ditched by them.
Police have been searching for Lu ever since he was caught on video being tasered and forced into a minivan in the underground parking garage of his condo building near Highway 7 and Birchmount Road Saturday evening.
The van was found abandoned in Toronto about a day later and police put out surveillance photos of three suspects on Monday.
York Police say they are searching for four suspects in this case. A man who was arrested on Tuesday has since been released.
