If 30 centimetres of snow wasn't enough winter for you, get ready to be hit with some frigid air when you walk out the door today.
Toronto and the GTA are under an Extreme Cold Warning from Environment Canada.
The cold is expected to stick around until the end of the work week.
CTV Weather Specialist Michelle Jobin says Wednesday's high will be a very chilly -15 with a wind chill around -33.
Wednesday night dips down to -22 with a wind chill of -37.
Gerald Cheng of Environment Canada told NEWSTALK 1010 Tuesday, the cold air is literally arctic like.
"It's an arctic air mass that's settling into Southern Ontario and it's going to stay in place for quite some time until at least Friday morning."
The frigid cold temperatures will also be prime for frostbite, which can develop within minutes on exposed skin.
Environment Canada also warns that " If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside."
Conditions should improve Friday as milder air moves into the region.
By Saturday, we're expected to hit a high of 4.
