A woman is facing charges after video surfaced of an alleged assault on a TTC fare inspector.
The incident happened near Danforth and Woodbine around 5:30 p.m. on Friday
It's alleged this woman went into a building and stole some mail.
She was stopped by a resident who she allegedly assaulted.
She was stopped by the fare inspector not far away.
The suspect is seen getting out of a taxi and hitting the inspector with a purse.
He's able to restrain her until police show up.
This woman is charged with theft of mail, assault, and assault with a weapon.
