When Canadian country singer Brett Kissel stepped onto the ice to sing the U.S. national anthem Sunday night, the mic wouldn't work.
It was Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinal in Edmonton between the Oilers and the Anaheim Ducks.
Kissel tried twice to sing and when nothing came out of the speakers he enlisted the help of the crowd.
Thousands of Canadian fans, most of them decked out in Oilers gear, belted out the Star-Spangled Banner.
The microphone was working in time for the Canadian national anthem.
