The case of a man accused of beating up a stranger before stripping down and plunging naked into a tank of sharks has been put over until next month.
David Weaver did not appear in an Old City Hall courtroom Thursday but his lawyer did. Blair Drummie is still waiting to get evidence from the Crown.
Police have alleged that Weaver broke windows and assaulted a stranger at Medieval Times October 12 after being kicked out for bad behaviour. They believe he is the same man who later shed his clothes and swam in a sharktank at Ripley's Aquarium.
Videos of the adventurous skinny dipper were shared around the world.
Weaver is charged with assault causing bodily harm and two different kinds of mischief.
Weaver has committed to counselling for alcohol use and anger management while out on bail. He has to stay in Ontario rather than return to his home in Nelson, British Columbia and to keep away from the man he's accused of assaulting, Medieval Times and Ripley's.
The case returns to court December 13.
