Fire crews are dousing hot spots at a group of row houses on Baldwin near McCaul after fire broke out at a noodle restaurant.
It started around 1 p.m. and quickly spread through an attic shared with three other buildings.
At its height, it was a 5 alarm blaze and fire fighters could be seen on the roof spraying water inside as smoke poured out.
Fire officials say the buildings house commercial business on the main floor and homes above.
There were no injuries.
Officials are still investigating the cause and don't yet have a damage estimate.
