It seems not even a curb to separate cyclists from motorized vehicles is a clear enough message for some Toronto drivers.
YouTube user Eric S has shared video of four different cars turning in to separated bike lanes that partially encircle Queen's Park.
The lanes include bike-specific pavement markings, traffic lights for cyclists and a low concrete barrier.
In the footage, some drivers seem confused about what has gone wrong until a cyclist sounds a horn, but at least one driver looks to have driven the length of a bike line just north of Queen's Park.
In a statement, the city says "The City has been made aware of anecdotal reports that there have been some cases of drivers entering the cycle track at Wellesley and Queens Park in error when making the a northbound left turn. It appears that these are isolated incidents of driver error. The cycle track is well signed and marked with painted symbols, with separation provided by a concrete curb."
