A woman suffered minor injuries, when her cellphone caught on fire, while on board an Air Canada plane at Pearson.
It happened around 7 o'clock, on a plane that was headed to Vancouver from Toronto.
Emergency crews put out the phone and the plane was near the gate.
The woman was able to walk off the plane and was treated by emergency workers at the airport.
The flight was delayed for almost two hours, but Air Canada officials say there was no damage to the aircraft.
The model of the phone is unknown, and the cause of the fire is still unclear.
