A pair of Toronto Police officers may find themselves in some hot water, over a couple of videos that surfaced on Instagram.
The videos were posted on Sunday night, and show the officers "interacting" with women at a bar on Queen Street West.
One of the videos allegedly shows a woman being put into handcuffs, while another allegedly shows a woman getting into the back of a police cruiser.
It doesn't appear as though the officer is doing anything to hurt either one of the women, and they appear willing to play along.
Police spokesperson Meaghan Gray says they have identified the two officers as from 52 division, and they may have been called to the Warehouse bar on Queen West for a crowd control issue.
The matter has now been referred to the professional standards unit, who will conduct the investigation.
"We expect our officers to engage professionally and with respect at all times, particularly when they are on duty, in uniform, representing the Toronto Police Service," she said. "On the face, it would appear that that's not the case in this situation."
"Thankfully, we do not have incidents such as this occur very often."
The officers will remain on duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
