The same day that a poll showed the NDP surging ahead of them, the PC party took another shot at their biggest opponents with less than two weeks to go before the election.
The Tories are accusing the New Democratic candidate in Scarborough-Agincourt of anti-Semitism based on social media posts they say Tasleem Riaz made several years ago.
One of those posts shows a meme of Adolf Hitler with his infamous salute, and an "inspirational" quote.

"These types of comments are not acceptable," PC candidate Todd Smith told reporters. "Are these the type of people that could potentially be representing ridings in Ontario?"
Riaz released a statement saying that she does not remember sharing the meme.
"I am horrified that an inappropriate meme was on my Facebook page," Riaz's statement reads. "I can’t understand how this happened, and I’m devastated that it has."
PC candidate Gila Martow is calling on the New Democrats to drop Riaz as a candidate.
"We all know that you don't post this kind of this by accident," Martow says.

Horwath defended her candidate during a campaign stop in Scarborough.
"This woman is an activist in the interfaith community," Horwath told reporters. "I find it pretty unbelievable that she would be in any way implicated in anything at all that's anti-Semitic."
