A Brampton man is facing a litany of charges in connection with at least five random shootings in northwest Toronto and police believe there could be more.
"I don't know what other words to say other than to say it's disturbing, shocking, outrageous," Toronto Police Superintendent Ron Taverner tells NEWSTALK 1010.
The first shooting was January 9 and the last was January 21. All five cases took place in Etobicoke during the afternoon. In one case, a four-year-old girl was shot at while she sat with her father in their car. Neither was hurt.

Taverner says it is unclear what the suspect's motivation was, or why he was targetting the northwest end of Toronto.
He says that the shootings were random.
"The people were not connected in any way," he says.
20-year-old Adam Abdi, pictured below, faces a combined 48 charges including attempted murder, having his face disguised, and a number of gun-related charges and breach of probation.
