Peel Regional Police are looking for a man who posed as a delivery person, and tried to kill a Mississauga woman last November.
Officers released photos and video on Monday, of the man who is wanted on charges of attempted murder.
It was around 8 o'clock in the evening, when police were called to the home in the Winston Churchill and 401 area, and found the 44-year-old woman fighting for her life.
The man allegedly had a crossbow hidden in a large box, and following a brief conversation, shot the victim through a hole cut in the box.
Investigators say the arrow used in this attack is generally used to hunt large game like deer and moose.
This doesn't appear to be a random attack, with officers saying they believe this was a premeditated and targeted attack based on the conversation between the victim and the suspect.
Investigators have identified a vehicle that they believe may be involved in this incident. The vehicle is a dark coloured pickup truck and arrived in the area of the residence minutes before the attack took place and fled minutes after.
