Imagine being out for a nice Sunday drive along a busy highway. Now imagine the vehicle that just pulled over next to you had wings.
It happened Sunday in San Jose, California.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) the pilot of a small plane was experiencing engine failure and safely landed on a grassy medium of Highway 101 near the San Martin Airport in south Santa Clara County.
The FAA added the pilot, who was the only person on the single-engine Piper PA-46 aircraft, was not hurt and the plane was not damaged.
