Toronto Police have shared a composite sketch and surveillance videos of the man believed to have twice violently targetted councillor John Filion.
The first alleged attack came on the night of March 13. Police say at about 8:30 p.m. a man answered a knock at the door of a home near Parkview Ave and Kenneth Ave and was confronted by a stranger. That stranger allegedly hit the man some kind of object and damaged the door before running away.
Filion said last week that a man had tried to force his way into his home.
Police believe the same stranger returned to the home at about 1:30 a.m. April 4 and fired a gun at a vehicle and the garage.
Filion is convinced the attacks are related to his work as a city councillor.
Police consider the suspect to be armed, violent, and dangerous so if you see him, call 911. Anyone with informatio on the cast is asked to call police at 416-808-3200 or to contact Crime Stoppers.
