Peel police have called in a negotiator to deal with a possible hostage situation in Mississauga.
Officers responded to a person in distress inside a condo unit in one of the "Marilyn Monroe" buildings, near Hurontario St and Burnhamthorpe Rd.
Police say a man has barricaded himself inside a unit, and there is one other person with him. It is unclear whether the other person is inside willingly, according to police.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
