Is this a good use of police resources, or should police be focusing on something else?
Three teens were spotted by police in the sky, after allegedly stealing candy from Canada's Wonderland.
You can clearly see in the video released by York Regional Police, the images of the three boys hiding under a tree while officers on the ground close in on them.
It could be argued that this is great training for both police in the helicopter and the K-9 unit on the ground, but others would say, it seems a little excessive for a candy theft.
The kids, who were 15 and 16 years old, were co-operative with police and have been turned back over to their parents. They've also been entered into the Community Referral Program, under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, according to a release by York Regional Police.
