Two down, one to go. A man wanted in connection with a jaw-dropping attack on a man with autism at Square One's bus terminal has surrendered to police. Peel Regional Police tell NEWSTALK 1010 Ronjot Singh Dhami turned himself in at 21 Division in Brampton at about 5 a.m. Monday.
He was handcuffed, put in the back of police cruiser and driven to 12 Division in Mississauga where investigators on the case have been working. News cameras showed Dhami rolling up to 12 Division with the hood of a pale blue sweatshirt covering his face.
He is expected in court later Monday.
Dhami's lawyer told NEWSTALK 1010's sister station CP24 last week that his client was maintaining his innocence. Dhami, whose last known address was in Surrey, British Columbia, was convicted in that province of assault with a weapon in 2011.

Peel Police believe Dhami is the man who punched an unsuspecting man with autism in the face in what they have called an unprovoked and savage. Security video of the incident shows the victim at the bottom of a flight of stairs changing into inline skates when three suspects come down the steps and immediately rain punches and kicks on him.
The victim suffered serious injuries including a broken nose and cuts to his face.
A second suspect in the attack, Parmvir Singh Chahil, was arrested in Windsor on Friday.

A 44-year-old woman and Chahil's 18-year-old brother were charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Police have not been able to identify the third suspect in the attack thought they believe he goes by the name Jason.
