Was it an accident or intentional?
That's what Toronto Police will try to determine after a tow truck caught fire Monday night.
The incident occurred on Neptune Drive, near Bathurst, south of Wilson Avenue at about 9:30 p.m.
According to our media partner CP24, police received reports of a group of males fleeing the area following the fire.
A gas can in the rear of the tow truck may have led to an "explosion" after the vehicle had already caught fire.
Camera video from a CP24 viewer showed the truck on fire, followed by a loud bang.
According to police, the incident is being investigated as suspicious.
