A fiery crash in Brampton overnight could have been worse if it were not for some quick thinking bystanders.
A vehicle speeding along Creditview Road near Williams Parkway around 1:30 a.m. lost control and slammed into a house.
People heard the crash and ran to help.
Three men were inside the Jeep Cherokee. The two in the front managed to get out, but the man in the back was trapped.
Deandre Stephenson was playing video games when he heard the crash. He says he pulled that man out through the sunroof after another person smashed it open.
Deandre was on Moore in the Morning. He said he brought the guy to safety to wait for the ambulance to arrive and when he turned around a minute later the whole car was in flames.

"Also the people in the house were trapped since they couldn't go through the front since the car was blocking the door." He said they went through the backdoor and climbed the fence to get to the neighbours.
Peel Regional police constable Harinder Sohi says the driver of the SUV, a 28-year-old man has been arrested for impaired driving.
He believes speed and alochol were factors in the crash.
