Federal Conservative leader Andrew Scheer says he could have gotten a better NAFTA deal if he was in power.
In a Tweet posted on Sunday morning, Scheer says his party "would have negotiated a better deal for Canadians."

In a subsequent Tweet, Scheer said Justin Trudeau's Liberals are defining their success by what Canadians didn't have to give up, and USMCA has not put Canada in a better position.
Scheer did not say what he would have done differently if he was Prime Minister.
His spokesperson was not immediately available.
