A person was shot and left for dead in the snow in Etobicoke Friday night.
That shooting incident is now a homicide.
Toronto Police confirmed Saturday morning, that a man in his 30's succumb to his injuries, after being shot in the area of the West Mall and Rathburn Road just after 10:30 p.m.
The scene of the shooting is right near a Toronto Community Housing Complex.
A TTC bus driver reportedly found the victim in the snow and called police.
According to Const. Dave Hopkinson,two people were seen running from the scene after the shooting, but police caution it's not clear if they are possible suspects or were just trying to stay out of harm's way.
"What I would like to say is, whoever they are, we would like to speak to them."
