The Toronto District School Board is out with a report on its plan for school in the fall.
It will see high school students take two classes at a time in groups of 15. They'll spend half the day at school and the other half learning remotely.
Students will not be allowed to use lockers or eat lunch and school and there will be no sports.
They will also have the option of full-time remote learning. The first quadmester would run from September 8th to November 9th.
High schools will also include physical distancing measures such as floor markings for on-way traffic. Staff and students will have to stay home if they're feeling unwell and they'll be screened at school.
Elementary school students will attend school five days a week, with the same group of students all day.
The board says each class will be with one teacher where possible with staggered recesses, lunches and washroom breaks.
Specialized teachers, such as French teachers, will still be able to move from classroom to classroom.
This plan will go to TDSB trustees today before it's submitted to the Ministry of Education.
