A Whitby teacher is facing more criminal charges for alleged sexual abuse of some of his students while at school after police say they identified for more vicitms.
Thomas Grieve was a teacher at Robert Munsch Public School, EA Fairman Public School as well as filling in as a supply teacher and teaching nights and summers at various schools. He also coached the female under 18 Durham Rebels Volleyball Club team and sports teams at Robert Munsch.
Durham Regional Police say Grieve is facing a combined 14 new charges for alleged sexual abuse. All of the alleged victims are under the age of 16. Grieve faces seven counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
The new charges are on top of eight charges each of sexual assault and sexual interference filed last month.
