It was a distraction theft that happened back in January and police have finally managed to arrest one of the three people they think are responsible.
On Saturday afternoon on January 28th, around 2 o'clock, police were called to a jewellery store in the Shops at Don Mills.
Cops say two women and a man walked in and started looking at different items in seperate areas of the store, allegedly lifting big ticket items when the clerk wasn't looking.
Things like "a watch, a ring and some chains, for a total value of $89,000." according to Constable Craig Brister from Toronto Police.
25-year-old Stela Rostas from Markham has been arrested and charged with theft over $5,000.
But, police are still looking for two others in connection with the theft.
41-year-old Tarase Haret and 40-year-old Teusan-Nistor Soloman are still on the loose.
