Toronto Police say a woman has died after the second fatal collision in the city in less than 12 hours.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash Saturday morning in the east end of North York, at Finch Ave. E. and Victoria Park.
Constable Allyson Douglas-Cook told NEWSTALK1010 officers received several calls from witnesses at about 10:30 a.m.
According to a source, the woman was without vital signs at the scene and was revived for a short time in hospital, before succumbing to her injuries.
A second person is being treated in hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
There's no word on the victim's age or the cause of the crash.
The intersection was shut down for much of the afternoon.
Saturday morning's crash comes just hours after a 31-year-old woman was killed while trying to cross Highway 401 on foot Friday evening.
