A woman walking past a shop in midtown was hurt on Friday afternoon when a sign came crashing to the ground.
Toronto Police blocked the sidewalk off along Yonge Street, just north of Davisville Avenue.
The sign, which is about 4 ft. high and 20 ft. wide, fell from Richie's Frames, at the corner of Imperial Street, around 2:00pm.
Paramedics describe the woman's injuries as "serious" but she is expected to recover.
