South Simcoe police say a 24-year-old woman is charged with drug-impaired driving after a vehicle lost control, mounted a curb and wound up on the grass shoulder.
Police say when an officer responded to the scene late Tuesday morning in Innisfil, Ont., and asked for the woman's driver's licence, she handed over an Esso Extra points card.
After a second request for her licence, police say she produced a CIBC bank card.
Investigators say the Innisfil woman was arrested and taken to hospital due to her disoriented state.
A drug recognition expert conducted an evaluation which police say resulted in the woman being charged with drug impairment.
