Brampton Fire crews were called to a home on Mount Fuji Cres. in the Castlemore and Airport Road area, just after 11 o'clock to a semi-detatched home on fire.
It wasn't long before a woman in her late 20's or early 30's was pulled from the home, without vital signs.
Peel Paramedics say she was revived about 20 minutes after being rescued.
There's nothing yet on what started the fire, but fire crews say it appears to have started in the basement of the home.
