A hit-and-run in Oakridge has left a woman in hospital with critical injuries.
It happened just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Danforth Road and Patterson Avenue.
The woman believed to be 67 was found unconscious and rushed to hospital.
Toronto Police have closed off the area to investigate and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Police are also looking for dark-coloured SUV that may have front-end damage.
Also in Scarborough, a man suffered multiple stab wounds around 8 p.m. at Mossbank Drive and Par Avenue.
While he was transported to hospital in and out of consciousness, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and may be connected to a robbery.
