A woman will get to celebrate the holidays with her family thanks to the quick action of a group of strangers.
Passengers at Union Station saved her life when she fainted on the train platform Monday night.
Metrolinx says she fell into the track bed as a GO train was entering the station.
Other passengers ran to her side and managed to hold her up against the wall of the track bed until the train came to a stop and they were able to pull her out.
If not for their help, she could have been killed.
Her injuries are said to be minor.
