Toronto police say they've charged an 80-year-old man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman after she asked him to keep his distance because of COVID-19.
Police say that on Tuesday evening, the man approached the woman near Lower Spadina and Queen's Quay, and tried to greet her.
Investigators say the woman explained that this wasn't allowed under physical distancing measures.
They say she tried to move away, but he approached her again and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Investigators say he was charged with sexual assault on Wednesday.
They say there could be more victims and they're asking anyone with information to come forward.
