A woman is dead after being struck and killed by a car in Scarborough Wednsday night.
The 59 year old victim was attempting to cross the road near Passmore Avenue and Middlefield Road just before 7 p.m.
According to Traffic Services, who have taken over the investigation, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car involved in the fatal accident remained on the scene.
