Is this a sign of things to come?
Durham Regional Police are looking for a group of goons, who robbed a legal grow op near Beaverton early Thursday morning.
That's just 36 hours after pot became legal in Canada.
Cops say, four men were tending to the legal outdoor grow op, when five men flashed guns and rounded up the workers.
They were locked in a security trailer and their personal belongings taken. But then they turned their attention to the "product", stealing several garbage bags full of dried marijuana from a barn used for storage.
The suspects then jumped in one of the worker's vehicles and took off.
Suspect #1 is described as male, white, with a French accent, 40-45 years old, 5'10" tall, about 140 lbs. with grey, short hair.
Suspect #2 is described as a male, white, 32-35 years old, 5'10" tall, about 150 lbs. with short, black hair, and a full beard. He was wearing a ski mask.
Suspects #3, #4 and #5 are described only as male.
It was hours before the workers were able to free themselves, and call police. Cops later found the stolen vehicle, parked a short distance away.
