More than 400 workers at the OLG Slots at Woodbine have been locked out.
The OLG and the Public Service Alliance of Canada have been working to reach a new tentative deal after workers voted last weekend to reject an agreement reached earlier this month.
Woodbine Racetrack says it's now running reduced services. The electronic poker room will be closed, the onsite courtesy shuttle is unavailable, and coat check will operate during limited hours.
A statement on Woodbine's website reads, "OLG will continue to work with PSAC to reach a collective agreement as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
The union is calling for improved working conditions, particularly for part-time staff.
