York police have made an arrest in a historical sexual assault case.
Police say the suspect has worked as a babysitter, as well as a Santa and Easter Bunny at community events.
Investigators say after receiving an online complaint last month, they have identified several alleged victims between the ages of 5 and 14.
The incidents allegedly happened while the suspect worked as a babysitter for 20 years starting in 1988.
53-year-old Wayne Rose of Whitchurch-Stouffville has been charged with six counts of sexual assault, 10 counts of sexual interference, sexual exploitation and invitation to sexual touching.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 10.
