Police are asking for the public's assistance as they investigate the latest homicide in York Region.
Sunday evening, a man was shot outside a restaurant in Vaughan and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting occurred at a restaurant at 8074 Islington Avenue near Woodbridge Avenue, just before 5:30 p.m.
Police arrived to find the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
His identity is not being released until a post mortem examination is completed.
Witnesses claim to have seen four or five suspects running from the scene right after the shooting.
The suspects got into a black pickup and fled northbound on Islington.
Police have released an image of the vehicle wanted.
It's described as a black four door Ford F-150 pick-up truck with black rims.
But possible suspect information has not been released.
