York Regional Police are searching for two suspects involved in a sexual assault in Richmond Hill Saturday morning.
Police say between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. a female was walking in the area of Crosby Avenue, west of Newkirk Avenue when she was approached by two men. They threw the victim to the ground, rifled through her belongings, then sexually assaulted her.
The suspects are described as between 16 to 25-years-old, 5'8" to 5'10", both have thin builds and were wearing dark clothing including hoodies.
York Regional Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen or heard anything suspicious in the area to contact them. They would also like anyone in the area with surveillance cameras to check the video footage and see if it may have captured images of the suspects.
